Before zoku, we were running a different company—one that got hit hard by covid. To survive, we pivoted.
It kept the lights on, but the work was draining. it felt small, local, replaceable. Meanwhile, crypto and big tech were going parabolic. Industries we’d always read about, studied, and admired from a distance. feeling vulnerable as we were.
We came to believe that: software will eat the world, AI will accelerate it, and crypto will be the rails it runs on. it felt like a new frontier. And that divergence forced a realization: we didn’t want to build in the old world anymore. We wanted to work on something global, permissionless and aligned with the future.
So we started digging into crypto, not just the charts, but the culture, even going through the crypto startup school.
After cold DM’ing a guy on LinkedIn who ran a crypto startup in Amsterdam. He invited us to his office the next day and we pitched him a half-baked idea. He told us straight to our face that he didn’t like it. Instead, he pitched us on his company and gave us 24 hours to bring him a marketing plan.
We pulled an all-nighter til 5 am in the morning. Redbull, takeout and a 30-page slide deck built in our old office. The next day, we pitched him in a meeting room at zoku, a co-working space in the city of Amsterdam. That room had whiteboard walls and decent wine.
It was the middle of lockdowns, but inside zoku it felt alive. It felt like a plan was forming, and that inner fire we had buried was finally flickering back to life. That day in zoku he said yes. shortly thereafter the brand started to take shape.
The marketing plan became reality, the community started growing, influencers started onboarding. the growth became real. And just like that, we were in—inside an industry we’d only admired from the outside, one we’d spent years reading about, tracking obsessively, watching from the edges as it moved faster than anything else. now, suddenly, we were at the center
of it
That was the beginning of what became highperformers, and now zoku. We chose this name for a reason. It reflects what we’re building: a sovereign network of high-impact operators who scale products they believe in.

Our marketing campaign with Sorare began with the goal of onboarding one hundred content creators from around the world. This enabled us to build strong partnerships and get more than three billion impressions for Sorare alone.
Affiliate Marketing doesn’t stop once you get your first clicks or signups. In fact, current users are the most overlooked and untapped gold mines of growth. Because here’s the simple truth: engaged users spend more money. That's why our work doesn't stop at simply onboarding creators to a campaign. Once they are in we manage and optimize their results to keep them plus their fans engaged with Sorare to drive more revenue to the platform.

Our partnership with Sorare revolves around setting up long term partnerships with creators that love football… or sportsbetting in general. It’s our main goal to turn creators into die-hard fans of the brands we work with. Hence we only work with people who love Sorare. Once they fully understand the game we incentivize them and their viewers with amazing bonuses for them to get acquainted with Sorare.
One of the most important parts of engaging with your users… or fans, is sharing your journey with them. There's nothing an audience is better at than identifying fake authenticity, that is why taking them on a journey is so important. Taking the audience through the process and sharing the decisions you are making, are the driving force behind signups becoming paying users.

WOO X came to us with a challenge… To scale their newly launched affiliate program and grow it into a high-performing distribution channel for both user acquisition and trading volume. With no restrictions on GEOs or audience size, we tapped into a global network of affiliates passionate about crypto trading. Our focus wasn’t just on numbers but on building meaningful, lasting relationships; a strategy that led to us generating more than $1 billion in trading volume in the first 3 months.
Affiliate partnerships don’t thrive on autopilot. Signing the deal is only the beginning. Partners won’t magically generate thousands of clicks or signups, where we believe that the most undervalued and overlooked aspect of affiliate growth lies in creating true ambassadors. Carefully curating long term partners who genuinely believe in the product you’ve built. Engaged partners drive results.
